The Standard Rates
This is the most traditional way of paying for your electricity. These are the rates that have always been around, whereby you pay exactly for the electricity you use and this is shown on your electricity bill. When you choose your tariff you also choose the method of payment which is best for you. And of course, as always, none of our tariffs for domestic use tie you down to a permanent contract, and we guarantee the same rate for your electricity for one year.
You pay for what you use
We invoice you monthly according to the figures on your meter and you settle the bill every month.
We send you a pro-forma invoice before charging
If you don’t agree with the amount on the pro-forma invoice, send us the reading from your electricity meter and we will invoice you accordingly. Straightforward and transparent.
We guarantee the same rate for one year
You will always pay the lowest possible rate for your energy and we won’t raise the price during this time.
You pay for what you use, but in the form of a personalized fixed monthly rate
We calculate the flat fee based on your electricity consumption over the previous 12 months.
This is the cheapest kilowatt-hour rate we have
It is a prepayment rate which you pay at the beginning of the month, just like paying rent.
We settle up at the end of the year according to the amount of energy you use
If you’ve paid for more than what you’ve used, we’ll refund the difference; if not, you pay us the difference.
Holaluz tariff comparison chart
Your electricity bill consists of a fixed part and a variable part, so we give you a rate for the energy you are going to use and inform you of the cost you will pay per kilowatt (kW) of contracted power. The contracted power is expressed in terms such as 2.0A, 2.0DHA, 2.1A or 2.1DHA. 2.0 applies to less than 10kW, in other words, for 80% of Spanish households; 2.1 is for less than 15kW, mainly used by SMEs, very large houses or neighbours’ associations. With Holaluz, you pay for electricity at cost price and the energy varies depending on your chosen rate.
It’s the ‘bandwidth’ you need.
