Knowing what time of the day electricity is cheapest is a common concern if you are on a
PVPC rate or a time of use tariff (the one that divides the day in two periods, peak and off-peak). As you know, if you have a PVPC tariff, you pay a different price for your electricity every hour of every day of the year. The times when there is a higher demand for electricity (for instance: winter) prices will go up. If the weather conditions are favorable: high wind and plenty of rain (favoring the production of renewable energy) the price decreases.
