If you're reading this, you've probably heard about virtual batteries. But do you know the difference between virtual batteries and physical batteries? Keep reading and we'll tell you! But first, we'll explain what the biggest difference is between our virtual battery and other virtual batteries, as well as physical batteries. The Holaluz virtual battery means you can get compensation for 100% of your surplus at no extra cost. It's that simple. Switch to the Holaluz Cloud virtual battery and get an extra saving on your electricity bills, or even cut them down to €0 forever.
A virtual battery is like a piggy bank that allows you to store the surplus from your solar panels and convert it into a financial discount on your electricity bills. A virtual battery stores all the energy that, for legal reasons, can't be deducted from the bill for the period during which it's been generated. It's returned in the form of a discount, whether on that bill, later bills or bills for other services. Find more information about virtual batteries below.

To have a virtual battery, you'll need solar panels that are installed and working. You can link all the supply points you like to that virtual battery, whether or not they have panels, as long as they're in the same name. The corresponding discount will be applied to them all.
Supply points with solar panels will help charge your virtual battery when there's excess surplus. They will also drain your virtual battery so your bills can be cut down to €0.
Supply points without solar panels will drain your virtual battery, and you'll get significant discounts that could even cut your bills down to €0 if enough surplus has been stored.
