What is the ICP?

ICP stands for Interruptor de Control de Potencia (Mains Isolator).

This switch is installed by the energy distributor, once it sets up the electrical installation in your home. The ICP controls the power that you have consumed at all times. When the power that you consume exceeds the contracted power, it starts working by cutting the electricity supply.

If you way to know a bit more, we explain more things about the ICP in this post.
