How much an electrical bulletin costs varies. There’s no standard or regulated price.
It depends on each electrical installation, the installer or company issuing the certificate and the autonomous community in which the supply point is located. Some only charge service and labour costs. Others include other variables. The average price is between €100 and €150 per year.
Nowadays, you can find tools on the internet such as a home renovation quote calculator that will give you an idea of how much an electrical report will cost. We suggest you consult and compare prices from several installers to choose the one that best suits your budget and your needs.
Once approved, an electrical bulletin is valid for 20 years. After this period, the distributor is likely to require an update if there are any changes to the installation or the electricity contract, or simply because safety conditions need to be checked. It’s worth mentioning that once the CIE has been created, if it’s not used within 12 months for the intended activation or modification of the supply, a new one will be necessary.
